Sports Meet: Opening Ceremonies (Part 2)


After the speeches the first graders released the balloons they had carried in the parade. There was more cheering.






To end the Opening Ceremonies we had the requisite firecrackers. (I've been told firecrackers dispel evil spirits.) The parade participants joined their classmates who were seated around the track. The sport events began. And the cheering got serious.
