t's the original wall. Parts of it have been replaced and parts renovated. And though extensive it is not complete. Ankang has grown up around the wall and now surrounds it. I live inside the walled area, about 4-5 blocks from this gate. Through here is the river. This gate was closed at least once in recent years due to flood warnings.

Lavelle, My parents "boosted" two bricks from the Great Wall, maybe I can send them to you and you can tuck them in somewhere! And if anyone is going to the Sistine Chapel, I have a tile to return. They left a trail of gaping holes in their travels. Just trying to make amends for their "behavior".
