Sports Meet: Athletes' Anticipation

I'm teaching first, second and third graders and my attention was mainly on them. I did try to capture a student in each of the Sports Meet events and it seemed from first to sixth grade, the athletes waited their turn with normal apprehension. Although the first graders, this being their first Sports Meet, seemed the most watchful.






For the first graders form was an issue at the long jump. Toes here, arms like this, step forward after you land, .... It was difficult to remember everything!
